Frost Blankets

As a supplier of specialist expansion joints for concrete applications, we recognise that there is demand for a low cost solution to assist the curing of concrete in the colder months when frost damage can occur. Adequate curing is vital to achieve high quality concrete, as it affects long term durability, strength, water tightness, abrasion resistance, volume stability, and resistance to freezing and thawing.

There are a number of approaches including chemical additives and heating plant equipment, but the most cost effective solution is to simply fit a frost protection blanket to the surface of the wet concrete, as it cures. Available in easy to use rolls, the blankets may be removed, rolled and reused, time and time again. Products we offer:
